Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about Quizmo: how to play, scoring, coins, the daily streak, accounts and privacy.
Is Quizmo free?
Yes. The daily quiz and the multiplayer arena are entirely free. Optional virtual-currency purchases exist for cosmetics, but they give no gameplay advantage.
How do I play today's quiz?
Open the game and launch the daily quiz. You answer a series of multiple-choice questions, with limited time per question and a number of lives. The quiz can only be played once per day.
Can I replay today's quiz if I get something wrong?
No. Like the word of the day, each daily quiz is played only once. You will, however, be able to find every question and the correct answers in the archive once the day is over.
What is the multiplayer arena mode?
It's a real-time game where all connected players answer the same questions at the same time. Players who are too slow or get it wrong are eliminated progressively, down to the last survivor.
How does scoring work?
The score combines the number of correct answers (the most important), lives remaining, then a speed bonus. Answering well and answering fast are both rewarded.
What are coins for?
Virtual coins, earned by playing multiplayer games, let you buy cosmetics to customize your avatar: hats, faces, accessories and colors.
What is the daily streak?
It's the number of consecutive days you've played. A long streak rewards your consistency. Missing a day resets it, unless you use a protection token.
Who chooses the quiz themes?
Themes are selected via a daily community vote from a shortlist, then the questions are prepared and checked before publication.
Do I need to create an account?
You can explore the game freely. An account (via Google or Discord) lets you save your progress, your streak, your cosmetics and appear on the leaderboard.
Can I revisit old quizzes?
Yes. The archive collects the quizzes already played, with every question, the correct answers and their sources. Ideal for revising and learning.
Does the game work on mobile?
Yes. Quizmo is a web app that works on desktop and mobile, and can be added to your home screen for quick access.
What happens to my personal data?
The data collected and your rights are detailed in our privacy policy, accessible from the footer of every screen.
