About Quizmo

Quizmo is a free general-knowledge trivia game you can play right in your browser. Every day, a new theme goes live: history, cinema, science, geography, music, sport, and many more. The goal is simple — answer as many questions correctly as you can, as fast as you can.

The daily quiz (solo mode)

Each day brings a single themed quiz of several multiple-choice questions. You can play it whenever you like during the day, but only once: no second chance, like the word of the day. On each question you have limited time and a number of lives. A wrong answer costs you a life; out of lives, the game ends. Your score is then compared with the other players of the day on a daily leaderboard.

The multiplayer arena

On top of the daily quiz, Quizmo offers real-time multiplayer games. At regular intervals an arena opens: every connected player answers the same questions at the same time, and the slowest or least accurate are eliminated round after round. The tension rises as the number of survivors shrinks, down to the last player standing. The whole thing plays out in an animated 3D arena.

Scoring

The score rewards both accuracy and speed: the number of correct answers weighs the most, followed by lives remaining, then a time bonus. This formula favors regular players who know their themes and answer quickly, without overly penalizing the odd hesitation.

Coins, cosmetics and personalization

Multiplayer games earn virtual coins based on your performance. These coins unlock cosmetics — hats, faces, accessories and colors — to customize your avatar in the arena. A shop offers a rotating selection of items, and some rare cosmetics are only available occasionally.

Daily streak

Playing every day keeps your streak going. The longer your streak, the more it rewards your consistency. Missing a day resets it to zero — unless you use a protection token to preserve your progress.

Theme voting

The community takes part in choosing the themes: each day, a vote decides the theme that will go live, from a proposed selection. It's a way to keep the game varied and to give players a say in what they want to discover.
